Slide Scans Part 2

In my last post on color slide film, I showed a few images that I had shot about 5 years ago. Here are a few more from that series and it’s made me want to go out and buy some more slide film and give it another whirl.

Very cool slides on these 2 posts Dave. How did you scan your slides? Do you have a slide scanning gizmo? I’ve tried regular scanners and they don’t come out, I’ve tried a ’slide-to-jpeg’ thing from a catelogue but the software wouldn’t load so I sent it back. Just curious, Liz

Liz, I just have a basic HP scanner that has a slide/negative scanning insert that shines light through the back so that it can be scanned (not unlike this one: http://tinyurl.com/plgg9y). It probably won’t work for a high quality full page magazine spread, but it does a pretty good job!

Foo. Wonder how a square slide from a 126 camera would come out. I have a bunch of France slides I’d like to digitize sometime.

May I please use the bottle one on this page as desktop background?

Lovely colors. The autumn leaves are even more lovely. But it is almost July now, there is plenty of color in flowers and sky and water. Any shots of those soon?

@ALiz…i think nobody will be angry at you if you borrow a picture for personal use! the problem appears when you use something from this blog for commercial benefits
